Welcome to our nurturing world

What do I do?

Infant Feeding Therapy

Does your baby struggle to nurse or bottle feed? Are they slow to gain weight? With an evaluation of your baby’s mouth and swallowing during a nursing/bottle feeding session, we will problem solve together to pinpoint the cause(s) to and move toward your feeding goals.

Solids Feeding Therapy

Does your toddler struggle to gain weight? Are they limited to a very small list of foods or even certain brands of those foods? Have mealtimes become battles with screaming throwing and gagging? I can help you bring some order and peace back to mealtime with food chaining techniques, desensitization training, and help with investigating potential contributing factors like food sensitivities.

Speech and Language Therapy

Are you concerned about your child’s first words or language development? I provide play based therapy that targets first words and sounds.

Who am I?

Hello! My name is Brianna and I am a Speech Language Pathologist who loves the littles.

Babies:

I have experience with all ages, but I have a special place in my heart for birth to three. I love helping infants learn how to eat, and empowering mamas to support them at home. If breastfeeding is your goal, I have seen breastfeeding dyads in the clinical setting, and I had my own long hard fought journey with my baby from an NG tube in the NICU to exclusive breastfeeding. If bottle feeding is your goal, I have helped many babies take their first oral feeding after a feeding tube including my own daughter’s, and I can help your child begin or become more efficient bottle feeding.

Toddlers:

Toddlers are wonderful wiggly balls of (sometimes explosive) life, and I enjoy being a safe and fun place to support them in exploring their world. We may find our way to new foods or new sounds together, but it will always be through play. Kids will encounter boundaries with me, but we also gently work through the big feelings that may come with running into those boundaries, frightening foods, or word finding frustrations. Many a toddler that has found their way to me with both language and behavior issues have had both problems relieved with an avenue of communication.

Our family:

My little girl is now a toddler and she is inspiring me to write children’s books that help with practicing first sounds starring her favorite stuffed duck. I look forward to sharing them with you when they are finished. Our family loves hiking and gardening, and taking our daughter to places she can throw rocks in the water or see a train. I can’t wait to meet you and your child!

Practical:

We can discuss meeting virtually, in your home, or in mine. I do like to do our first session in person especially if we are meeting for feeding goals. I do not take insurance at this time, but my pricing is lower to accommodate that. I am in the process of making my practice insurance friendly. Drop me a note in the section below!
